Desert Sun

from CODEX (Compilation) by Mount Zenith

/

lyrics

Swimming in a sea, sifting through these ancient sands
My prismatic consciousness bubbles to the brink of infinity
I can’t seem to find a reason to, to retreat to this temple of skin
A little taste of this new age shit, square pushing is good for the soul

Take me to the desert sun and open up, up, up my mind
Take me to the desert dog, made of black glass and the crystal shards

Dreaming in the ceiling, drifting through these pale blue skies
My primeval, shadow self, oscillates to the opus of oblivion
I can’t seem to find a holy shrine, weaved in this plastic pilgrimage
Your tongue became, a mountain range, searching for a god
And found one in a pill

Take me to the desert sun and open up, up, up my mind
Take me to the desert dog, made of black glass and the crystal shards
